About SATTE
SATTE is now in its 17th year running. What started as pure inbound, has now become a name for buying and selling Indian tourism.
Having hosted over 4000 tour operators from 40 countries worldwide, with leading partners like Ministry of Tourism, Air India, Indian Airlines and a dozen hotels in the capital, the event offers the only hospitality programme of its kind in the country.
SATTE is now promoting all streams - evolving as India's travel potential is growing, promoting and featuring all streams including domestic and outbound. Appropriately, we are now calling the event SATTE.
Endorsed by all industry associations and segments, we will be bolder in size, with more numbers of both visitors and exhibitors. We expect to bring over 500 exhibiting companies to meet with an expected 1000 hosted buyers from all over India and overseas. Indeed, SATTE 2010 will reflect the buoyancy in the Indian marketplace for travel and tourism.
SATTE goes more international. We are delighted to announce our partnership with ITB Berlin, the world's leading travel fair organizer. ITB's decision to endorse SATTE is a reflection of its commitment to the India market, indeed to the entire South Asian region. It is recognition of the power of the Indian traveller and also recognition for India as a major generator on the travel and tourism circuit of Asia. It also recognizes the leadership position of SATTE as the premier tourism product of the region.
January is a good time to catch the Indian peak season. Come to tailor-make specific packages to offer on B2B platform. New Delhi is the best place to attract nationwide attention on media, with government and industry.
SATTE brings home another advantage: work with the Indian trade, round the year with T3, the country's leading travel trade magazine.
For SATTE 2010, we are working on new segments and new streams among the exhibitors:
